This program is designed for children Pre-K -Second Grade (Ages 3-8). The classes are offered on a semester basis: Fall Semester (September - December), Spring Semester (January - June), and Summer Semester (July-August).

AOM Professional Training Program
All students enroll for the year, September - June and have the option of participating in the Intensive Summer Study designed for (ages 9-18). Competitive Work/Study Scholarships available.

AOM Junior Ensemble
Invited dancers from the AOM Professional Training Program who study a minimum of three times/week perform at site specific events such as The Cupola, Two River Theatre in Red Bank, NJ, Loree Theatre at Rutgers, Youth Dance Festival, Wallington High School Arts Day and invited guest appearances in NYC.
AOM Professional Discount Many Broadway and Touring Professionals study at AOM. A Professional discount is offered for ten class cards. Union card and/or professional ID required.
AOM Adult Program
Ten or Twenty Class Cards available. Single classes are $20, Ten class cards $150.00 and Twenty class cards are $300 plus a bonus of 2 free classes (22 classes total ). Massage on an appointment basis. Special Workshops in Partner Yoga and Holiday events such as Valentine and New Year's Eve Yoga master classes taught to live music.

Dance Theatre
The Art of Motion Dance Theatre is a Repertory Company performing original works by Artistic Directors, Olivia Galgano and Lynn Needle. Dancers study regularly at AOM and join the Ensemble by invitation. The ensemble has toured theaters throughout the tri-state area including DNA MMAC (Manhattan Movement and Arts Center), Hunter College, Rutgers University, the 92nd St Y, NYU, the Angelica and
Russ Berrie Center for Performing and Visual Arts at Ramapo College, Ciccone Theater at BCC, Rider University, and more.
Class Attire
Ballet - Pink tights and black leotard, ballet slippers,*Pointe shoes if approved*.
Modern - Footless tights and leotard or unitard with bare feet.
Jazz - Footless tights and leotard or unitard, with optional jazz pants or shorts and jazz shoes. Character shoes allowed if approved
Tap - Footless tights and leotard or unitard, with optional jazz pants or shorts and tap shoes.
Yoga/Pilates - Comfortable clothing, leotard, yoga pants, shorts, t-shirts, yoga mat required
